How a session works

Consultation
The specialist answers your questions, explains the contraindications, looks at the area you want treated and sets the optimal settings and electrolysis mode individually for your hair and skin type.

Treatment
A fine single-use needle glides along the hair into the follicle. A short electrical pulse heats the needle and seals the blood vessels that fed the hair, which destroys the root. Each hair is treated individually. Hairs don't all grow at the same time, so a course of sessions is needed.

Aftercare at home
After the session the specialist gives you home care recommendations. Staying well hydrated and keeping your skin moisturised between sessions helps the treatment itself and helps the skin recover faster afterwards.

30 minutes covers one or two small areas, such as the upper lip and chin. A 60-minute session is for several areas at once.

Which session length should I choose for the face?
For one or two small areas (upper lip, chin) 30 minutes is usually enough. For several areas — cheeks, chin, lip, forehead — choose 60 minutes. The specialist will advise at your first visit.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on the area, hair density and individual factors. On average 8–12 sessions. Electrolysis is a course: hair grows in cycles and each hair has to be treated in its active growth phase.
Will there be marks on my face?
Right after a session you may see slight redness and small scabs. This is a temporary skin reaction, and with the aftercare routine the skin recovers.
How should I prepare?
Don't shave or wax for 2–3 days before: hairs should be 2–3 mm long. Avoid sun and alcohol the day before. Come without cream or deodorant on the treatment area.
Does it hurt?
Most clients describe the sensation as slight warmth or tingling. The specialist adjusts the intensity for your comfort.
